AN 11-day uninterrupted run of the pilot plant at Platina Resources Owendale scandium, cobalt and nickel project in central New South Wales has confirmed the metallurgical performance of its flowsheet.

The test was conducted at SGS Minerals' facility in Malaga, Western Australia from April 16 to 27.

About 6t of material from the Owendale project, blended from existing core, was ground to the appropriate particle size to feed the pilot plant.

Those pilot plant feed samples were prepared to represent the first five years production from the mine plan, with SGS managing the feed preparation to provide a uniform feed for the program.
