It will start work at Mining Area C in October.

Together with other minor works being undertaken in the Pilbara, Maca expects to generate revenue of around $27.5 million per annum.

Maca managing director Chris Tuckwell said the company was grateful for the opportunity to work with BHP, and looked forward to a longstanding relationship with the "Big Australian" and working closely together to ensure mutual success.
