Coal clearance at Appin to help South32 reach 8Mtpa

SOUTH32’s Illawarra Metallurgical Coal subsidiary should return to annual historical production levels of more than 8 million tonnes after remediating its troubled Appin colliery in New South Wales, South32 CEO Graham Kerr said.
