Qld mining apprentices at risk with fed govt cuts

A $40 million federal government funding cut to Queensland’s Vocational Education and Training program will cast a cloud over the future of up to 424 mining trainees and apprentices in central Queensland, according to minister for training and skills development Shannon Fentiman.
