Coal helps Qld reach new production records

THE Queensland resources sector reached two production records with the Value of Production Index increasing 35% to $22.14 billion over the March quarter and the Production Index lifting 6% driven by coal exports being up 30%, according to the latest Queensland Resources Council State of the Sector report.
