Business Development Manager - Eastern Region

Falck is a Nordic based group with a head office in Denmark. They provide rescue, healthcare and safety services to a variety of industries. The Group has enjoyed rapid international growth in recent years and now has activities in more than 45 countries on six continents employing in excess of 30,000 people.

The group is embarking on a significant growth initiative in the mining, resources and energy sectors. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced and professional Business Development Manager to this newly created role to grow their business in Queensland and New South Wales.

Reporting to the General Manager Eastern Region, you will be responsible for driving operational growth, identifying new business opportunities and managing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In addition to developing and managing sales plans and budgets you will also be responsible for preparing tenders and supporting other core business service contracts. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in business development in Queensland and New South Wales, be solution focused and importantly, have a good working knowledge and understanding of OHS practices in the mining, resources and energy sectors.

Highly developed communication, negotiation and client relationship skills are considered essential for this role. It is not essential for candidates to hold tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline, greater emphasis will be placed on your "hands on" experience and your ability to deliver.
