Hemrajani has more than 20 years experience in treasury, finance and accounting.
Prior to his appointment with Cloud Peak, Hemrajani was vice president and treasurer for seismic solutions company ION Geophysical.
He is also experienced in Asian joint venture structuring and acquisitions and working for public corporations in the energy, manufacturing and consumer products industries.
Cloud Peak chief financial officer Michael Barrett said he was pleased to welcome Hemrajani to the team.
“He brings great skills and experience as we continue to invest in the future of the company,” he said.
Hemrajani has a master’s of business administration and is also a chartered accountant.
Hemrajani will be tasked with being responsible for all aspects of the company’s treasury function, including corporate finance, cash management and Treasury operations.
