HO Penn has already provided about 100 megawatts of portable generator sets to customers in the greater New York City area.

Additional portable generator sets are staged in HO Penn yards and ready for mobilization as local authorities determine where best to send them.

Other Cat dealers across the eastern US and Canada, including Milton Cat, Foley and Ransome, have mobilized hundreds of generators since last week in preparation for the storm.

These too are ready to be moved to the hardest hit areas.

Caterpillar and its dealer network will continue to work with local authorities to assess the ongoing situation.

The Caterpillar Foundation also invests in the Annual Disaster Giving Program, which provides relief money the American Red Cross uses to be prepared before a disaster strikes.

The Red Cross is providing disaster relief services to the hardest hit areas.
