The dividend is payable on September 13 to shareholders on record on August 30.

Consol, which posted a $13 million loss for the quarter ended June 30, declared a regular quarterly dividend of 12.5c per share.

That dividend is payable on August 23 to shareholders of record on August 9.

While Consol’s result was down considerably from the $153 million profit if posted for the corresponding quarter in 2012, it did receive good results from its gas business.

A tough coal-trading market was largely to blame for its downturn.
