SME seeking papers for 2014 conference

THE call has gone out for papers for the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration's annual...

The 143rd gathering, entitled “Leadership in Uncertain Times”, is scheduled for February 23-26, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

It is expected to attract thousands from the global industry in both the coal and metal/nonmetal sectors as well as preparation, planning, market services and other areas.

Paper abstracts are due to SME by August 1, and an email with acceptance notification will be sent to all selected authors in September.

Manuscripts will be due November 1 to allow time for proceedings preparation prior to the event.

SME 2014 will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center, and follows up a successful 2013 event in Denver, Colorado.
