Tigers Realm kicks off drilling at Landazuri

AUSTRALIA-based company Tigers Realm Coal has commenced a drilling program at its Landazuri tenem...

The tenement is located in the Santander region and is prospective for open pit mining.

Tigers Realm said the planned program would comprise 2000m of open hole drilling which is expected to identify areas within the current resource that have the highest potential to support open pit mining operations.

The plans to start a project feasibility study and undertake further drilling to upgrade the confidence of the resource, assuming sufficient volumes of lower strip ratio coal are identified during the drilling program.

Drilling results are expected to be released in April.

Tigers Realms has the opportunity to acquire a 60/70% stake in the Landazuri project, subject to making required option payments and project-related expenditures.
