Valencic, a 12-year sales and management who brings with him broad experience in new product development for more efficient material hauling, will oversee key account development and management worldwide and manage the company’s strategic sales planning.

In addition to coal, mining and aggregates, Valencic has extensive knowledge in power generation, oil sands and the Canadian iron ore industry.

“Aaron’s sales and management experience is a welcome addition to our team, and his knowledge of the mining industry and other key markets will be a huge asset,” DCT chief executive officer Edwin Peterson said.

“In particular, his technical acumen will strengthen our leadership position and brand recognition, with an emphasis on opening up new markets and applications for our equipment.”

Valencic, a graduate of Bradley University, is a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration as well as other industry organizations.

Dust Control Technology’s line of atomized misting solutions and evaporation equipment includes DustBoss and DriBoss.
