Culkin into Beacon

NATHAN Culkin has been appointed general manager coal processing and quality at Beacon Hill Resources’ Minas Moatize mine in Mozambique.

He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and development of the mine processing and coal quality functions at the mine and the group’s coal loading facility at Beira port.

Culkin was most recently plant manager at Mineral Resources Development in South Africa.

He previously held project management and mineral processing roles at Sedgman South Africa and BHP Billiton.

While at Sedgman, Culkin was project delivery manager for Riversdale’s Benga project.
