LAS VEGAS: Komatsu Mining Systems has formally launched internationally the world's largest mechanical drive wheel loader - the 205,200kg WA1200-3 designed to provide maximum productivity, serviceability and comfort in mining operations.
The wheel loader is powered by a 1560hp flywheel Komatsu SDA16V160 electric-controlled engine. Its standard 20cu.m bucket, the largest in its class, loads 240-ton haul trucks in just six passes, outperforming any wheel loader on the market.
Features include standard 20cu.m.bucket, modulated clutch system, improved operator comfort and vehicle health monitoring system. Operational features, which increase productivity and performance, include modulated clutch system; remote boom positioner; durable service brakes; and variable output hydraulic system.
