THE NEW York Stock Exchange’s coal market was noticeably brighter on Monday morning, with Alpha Natural Resources making a slight 2.8% recovery after losses in response to its poor Q2 Friday. Puda Coal leapt to the top of the watchlist with a 63.3% gain after a 50% loss Friday.
