The assignment became effective February 27.

MMH has already represented West Virginia-based Fletcher in the eastern US coalfields for more than a decade.

“Adding Morgantown Machine and Hydraulics as an authorized repair agent brings a high quality and very experienced company in as a partner and adds two additional repair facilities for our customers in the western US,” Fletcher sales manager Ben Hardman said.

“Ultimately it will result in high quality OEM repairs, more service exchange components available in the western US and quicker turnaround time on repairs for our customers out west.”

“[We] look forward to now also servicing our valued western customers with genuine OEM parts, authorized OEM rebuilds and authorized OEM component repairs and exchanges," Swanson Industries product line manager Jim Yanero said.

MMH operates a full-service complex in Helper, Utah, for complete machine rebuilds and component repairs and also owns a warehouse in the mine-rich community.

The company also has a hydraulic repair center and warehouse in Rock Springs, Wyoming and a new warehouse in Grand Junction, Colorado.

JH Fletcher said that locations would be supported technically both by it and an excellent in-house technical product and customer service support staff.

MMH, in addition to spare parts, will also stock exchange components so that service exchange programs can be established with customers.

DTS in Delta, Colorado, will continue as an authorized Fletcher component repair center.
