Long-Airdox teams up with US conveyor rebuilder

Staff Reporter

Long-Airdox has formed a strategic alliance with Metalcraft Mining Equipment Rebuilders in Blacksburg in the United States to provide rebuild support for full dimension continuous conveyor haulage systems.

Long-Airdox said this introduced OEM quality and support at non-OEM prices.

Long-Airdox general manager, US operations, David Hurd, said, "We chose to partner with Metalcraft because of their experience and commitment to quality. By adding our expertise and support to their rebuilding and remanufacturing mastery, end users of our continuous haulage systems will benefit enormously."

Calling it an alliance to 'rebuild the future', Hurd added, "Long-Airdox and Metalcraft together will provide the best haulage systems available and customer support services not seen before in the aftermarket side of our industry".

Metalcraft mining plants, with over 2137 square metres of production space, are located near Summersville, West Virginia at Fenwick and Gilboa.
