DAVID Flanagan has resigned from Atlas Iron just months after completing a debt restructure for the struggling iron ore miner.

Atlas Iron boss David Flanagan set to take a break.

The move marks the end of an era for Atlas, which listed under Flanagan’s leadership in 2004 with a focus on Pilbara gold.
