Weipa mine closer to open

METRO Mining has moved closer to operational readiness at its Bauxite Hills mine in Queensland’s premier Weipa bauxite region on Western Cape York with the signing of a long-term binding offtake agreement with China’s fifth largest bauxite importer Lubei Chemicals.
