CuDeco closure

QUEENSLAND’S Department of Natural Resources and Mines has ordered the temporary suspension of processing plant operations at CuDeco’s Rocklands copper mine in the north west of the state after identifying a number of issues with the plant.

The official directive comes after an investigation by the DNRM on November 30, and the suspension will stay pending further review of the mine’s Site Safety and Health Management System, to ensure
