ABX Group’s 83% subsidiary Alcore has commissioned three laboratory reactors at its technology centre on the New South Wales Central Coast, to recover fluorine from excess bath – an aluminium smelter waste product – for production of aluminium fluoride, a high-value additive for aluminium smelting.
