Scidev has been supplying the chemistry to Jacinth-Ambrosia since 2019.

Maxiflox has proved effective for treating process water with high salinity levels.

Conventional flocculants perform poorly in saline water.

Maxiflox is also used at Iluka's Cataby mine in Western Australia.

Scidev chief executive officer Seán Halpin said the latest contract at Jacinth-Ambrosia extended the relationship with Iluka across multiple sites, to reduce their tailings footprint and maximise water recovery.

"Our ongoing relationship with Iluka reflects both the quality of our products and the skill set of our team," he said.

"We remain actively engaged with a number of international and domestic resource clients and we expect the sector to deliver future growth opportunities for Scidev in 2023 and beyond."
