Yancoal minor shareholders lodge appeals

FOUR Yancoal minor shareholders are seeking to appeal a decision by the Australian Takeovers Panel made this week that would allow Yancoal to proceed with a US$2.65 billion entitlement offer to fund its proposed acquisition of Rio Tinto’s Coal & Allied New South Wales coal assets.
