Coal & Allied acquisition kicks into Yancoal bottom line

YANCOAL’S US$2.69 billion acquisition of Rio Tinto’s Coal & Allied Hunter Valley coal assets in September last year has helped drive production and lift profit before tax for the company to $311 million for 2017.
