Townsville keen for lithium

THE level of interest in a 15 gigawatt-hours lithium-ion battery gigafactory in the north-eastern Queensland city of Townsville has been “extraordinary”, according to proponent Magnis Resources, as a site selection process by Magnis’ engineers nears completion.
