AUSTRALIAN engineer Civmec is starting fabrication works at its Henderson facility after securing a two-year contract with Albemarle Lithium to build a new lithium hydroxide plant in Western Australia’s south-west.

Under the contract Civmec will be responsible for structural, mechanical and piping works for the hydromet, and final product, reagents and utilities works for the first three trains of the Albermarle
