Pilbara expanding Pilgangoora

PILBARA Minerals has taken the final investment decision to increase the nameplate capacity at its Pilgangoora Operations, in Western Australia’s Pilbara, from 580,000 tonnes per annum of spodumene to 680,000tpa.

The P680 project, as it is called, will have an estimated $297.5 million capital cost and likely be turning out 640,000-680,000tpa of 6% spodumene concentrate by the 2023 December quarter.
