Leighton's metamorphosis

LEIGHTON Holdings will from today be known as CIMIC Group Ltd after an almost unanimous shareholder vote in favour of the rebranding at the company's annual general meeting in Sydney, with the announcement coming as the cherry on top of solid first quarter results.

CIMIC stands for Construction, Infrastructure, Mining and Concessions and will replace the 66-year-old Leighton Holdings name - which was recently tarnished by allegations of corruption in overseas operations...
