Whitehaven to buy Winchester South for US$200M

WHITEHAVEN Coal is extending its coal operations out of New South Wales for the first time after clinching an agreement to pay US$200 ($A260) million for Rio Tinto’s 75% share of the Winchester South coking and thermal coal development project in Queensland.
