Eliwana to pick up Firetail slack

PILBARA iron ore producer Fortescue Metals Group has given the US$1.275 billion Eliwana mine and rail project the green light, with up to 1900 jobs expected to be created during construction and 500 full time jobs once the mine is operational in 2020.
