SULPHATE of potash developer Australian Potash managing director and CEO Matt Shackleton has confirmed using the clay found in the dunes surrounding Lake Wells as seepage barriers in the on-playa pre-concentration ponds was a good idea as it cut seepage rates and costs at the project.
