PRODUCTION capacity will almost double at the Greenbushes lithium mine after joint venture partners Tianqi Lithium and US chemical giant Albemarle wound-up a $320 million expansion, with the world’s biggest lithium mine in Western Australia’s South West now ready to pump out 1.34 million tonnes of lithium concentrate each year.
