THE Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety is levelling the playing field for emerging potash and salt minerals in brine operations in Western Australia to make sure rehabilitation liability estimates and Mining Rehabilitation Fund levy contributions are calculated fairly compared to other more conventional mining operations.
