Prominent Hill getting the shaft

OZ MINERALS has approved a $600 million hoisting shaft at its Prominent Hill copper-gold mine in South Australia.

The shaft project will reduce both the loading and hauling fleet at Prominent Hill and the expansion plan leaves room for electrification.
