TC Ellie fails to hamper Thunderbird

KIMBERLEY Mineral Sands has revealed the Thunderbird mineral sands project in Western Australia’s Kimberley region was left relatively unscathed by the 500mm of rain dumped on the site by ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie earlier in January, although there were some minor impacts on earthwork areas under construction before the rainstorm arrived.
