Perenti, ABB get Cosmos electrification study nod

IGO has moved a step closer to Peter Bradford’s vision of turning its Cosmos underground nickel mine into a fully electric operation by contracting Perenti and ABB to conduct a study on electrifying the operation.

The Cosmos operation is being redeveloped as an underground mine with shaft haulage.
