Tasman rehab project earns plaudits

THE presence of the Sugarloaf State Conservation Area to the south and the Hexham Swamp wetland area several kilometres downstream from Yancoal’s Tasman underground coal mine in New South Wales meant an innovative rehabilitation approach was required when the mine was closed after seven years of operation.
