WA mines on alert

COVID-19 has hit Western Australian mine sites for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020, with cases recorded at BHP’s Yandi iron ore mine in the state’s engine room – the Pilbara – and 29Metals’ Golden Grove polymetallic mine in the Mid West.
