Rio wrangles control at Ranger

RIO Tinto has demanded the resignation of Energy Resources of Australia chairman Peter Mansell after losing patience with the ERA board’s failure to come up with a workable plan to fund the increased rehabilitation costs at Ranger, in the Northern Territory.
