Roebourne hearings reveal Solomon destruction

THE Federal Court has heard that Fortescue Metals Group legally destroyed 249 Aboriginal sites, including a rock art shelter thought to be more than 35,000 years old, while developing its massive Solomon iron ore mine on Yindjibarndi country.
