QMI raises concerns over faulty seat belts

THE Queensland Mines Inspectorate is asking mine management to ensure adequate and functioning seat belts are used on all mobile plant after a Queensland coal mine recently found several utes with defective seat belts.

Of the 101 vehicles inspected at the mine, six were identified as having seat belt defects.
