BOWEN Coking Coal has started its 6500m 2D seismic program at its owned Cooroorah Coking Coal project in Queensland’s Bowen Basin.

The companies have engaged Velseis to conduct the program and will be using its Envirovibe equipment to ensure minimal impact on the area.

Seismic acquisition is widely used to interpret seam continuance and geological structure and forms a vital component of mine planning.
