Woodleigh crater reveals its secrets

A TEAM of researchers from Western Australia looking at drillcore taken from a buried meteorite impact crater near Shark Bay have chanced upon reidite, an ultra-rare mineral that only forms when rocks from space slam into the Earth’s crust.
