MINING lobby groups have praised the Queensland government’s pledge to spend $13.8 million over five years on the search and development of critical minerals in the state’s north to capitalise on the region’s untapped minerals bounty and create new discoveries, projects and jobs; thanking the government for answering industry’s call to action to make critical minerals a priority.
