MINERALS exploration spending has fallen 20.1% to $602.1 million in the March quarter, according to Australian Bureau of Statistics figures.

Minerals exploration spending has fallen.

Of that $151 million fall, the largest decrease by minerals sought was in selected base metals - down 28.8% or $57.5 million.

Brownfields exploration fell 16% or $71.
