Mining costs to increase up to 15% at Bluff

THE recent increase in crude oil prices, coupled with increased labour costs have impacted the tender process and are expected to result in a 10% to 15% increase in expected production costs at Bowen Coking Coal’s Bluff project in Queensland.

Mining operations have begun with two excavator fleets using a 600t Liebherr R-996 excavator.
