Rays of sunshine appearing for sodden coal mines

THE expected end of the La Nina weather pattern and the incessant rains it dumped on Australia’s eastern seaboard over the past three years may usher in a reprieve for coal miners battling margin pressure.

Expectations are that weather patterns will improve in 2023 and global inflationary impacts will ease.
