NSW coal fired electricity innovation gets $6.5M injection

THE New South Wales resources and power generation sectors have been awarded more than $6.5 million in funding for their research ideas through the NSW Coal Innovation Fund, which was set up thanks to a four-year levy on electricity distribution companies from 2009-2013.
