No Whyalla wipeout

IT MAY not be a silver bullet but embattled steel maker Arrium has been thrown a $70 million bone by Indian coal conglomerate Adani, after the signing of a memorandum of understanding giving Arrium sole right to supply the steel required for the double-tracked 400km rail line between the central Queensland mine site and the Abbot Point port, from South Australia’s Whyalla steelworks.
