FIELD pumping tests have started at the Kapunda copper project in South Australia to further investigate the deposit’s amenability to in-situ recovery.

The southern part of the Kapunda deposit will be drilled to further test it for its conduciveness to ISR.

Private company EnviroCopper has started the field pumping tests, which are being funded by a $2.85 million federal Ministry for Science, Jobs and Innovation grant.
